On a cold Autumnal night in October onboard Lucy’s boat, Bunbury, after a bottle of Rioja with a bit of Bowie crackling on vinyl in the background we had a bit of a light bulb moment and decided that it’s about time we started putting our love for creativity to good use.
There are a number of reasons why we wanted to start this project but the biggest reason of all is POSITIVITY.
Both of us have been affected by mental illness in one way or another whether it be suffering ourselves or watching people around us suffer in silence because people are still not recognising mental health as a real illness. Did you know 1 in 4 of us will be affected by mental illness in our lifetime? They are huge scary odds! So with that in mind, we try to lead a more positive approach to life and we have found that focusing a little time in our daily or weekly routine of doing something creative helps us and people around us to have a much more positive and happier approach to life.
